Magento eCommerce Pack: $200+ for $20

Envato launched the Magento eCommerce pack. As a limited time offer, $20 brings you $200+ worth of files. Let’s take a look at what’s in the pack.

$89 – Super Duper – Magento Theme

With 5 sub-layouts and being “fluid responsive” we understand why the authors called this “Super Duper”.

$22 – Advanced Social Life Stream – Magento Extension

Authored by Jelloul (we have reviewed an extension of his), the Advanced Social Life Stream will help with quickly setting up a social stream on your Magento shop.

$20 – Instagram for Magento – Magento Extension

Instagram for Magento makes it easy to add Instagram pictures from specific users or tags to your Magento shop. Includes administration options for the Magento back-end.

$20 – Shipping Calculator – Magento Extension

Shipping Calculator can quickly display the shipping costs on product and/or category pages.

$18 – Magento Popup Plus – Magento Extension

Easily customizable, Magento Popup Plus gives you the ability to quickly add pop-ups to your Magento store. Useful for letting visitors know there’s a new promotion. Though pop-ups are annoying, the default themes allow easy dismissal.

$18 – Magento Customer Attributes – Magento Extension

An extension for managing customer attributes. Administrator options include display rules for front- and back-end.

$18 – Buy X and Get Discount – Magento Extension

Magento pricing rules can sometimes be quite a hassle. This extension aims to improve that by delivering an easy interface for setting up group discount rules. Options included: 1 plus 1 at half price, 2 plus one free item, 1 plus 1 with Y% discount and more.

$17 – Shop By Brands – Magento Extension

Shop By Brands does exactly as it implies: it adds filtering and categorization options for branded products.

$17 – Configurable Product in Grid View Table

This extension can be used for displaying the simple associated products within a table view on the product page. Gives a compact overview of all the available options for a certain product.

Final words

Though we did not review the quality (in terms of code) of the extensions and themes offered, $20 doesn’t sound like a bad deal for premium Magento modules totaling over $200. Before installing all those extensions straight away, have a good check-up – by either yourself or your implementation partner – whether these extensions will fit in your current installation as-is.
